Hi everybody,
HP StoreVirtual VSA is a beast at cloning, because it detects Network and Storage as new devices. On the network side static MAC addresses do a good job but offline RAID because of lost disks is ugly. Glad that we have our fellow Veeam VMCT Trainer Eric Rossmanith, he found the following way to fix it:
Go to your Cluster-Storage Systems-YourNode-Storage
Click the RAID Setup Tasks Button and select “Reconfigure Tiers…”

Change Tier Level from 0 to 1 or vice versa. This will detect the disks again and bring them back online in the raid you had created before cloning.
